Starting out as a early sixties beat outfit, they later changed their sound to a more bluesy style while becoming increasingly popular in clubs. They disbanded in 1964 only to reform a year later with a new line up including Peter Thorup, eventually releasing their first album, the 1967 self titled "Beefeaters.".
